A five-year-old child on Friday succumbed to the injuries he suffered when a pack of dogs bit him on January 21.

HUBLI: A five-year-old child on Friday succumbed to the injuries he suffered when a pack of dogs bit him on January 21.
Gopi, a resident of Bellary’s Chatri area, was seriously injured when the stray dogs attacked him when he was playing near his house, sources said.
Speaking to TOI, Cowl Bazaar police inspector M B Golasangi said Gopi died when he was being taken to Bangalore.

His body was brought back to Bellary.
Gopi’s mother, Aadilakshmi, tried to commit suicide in front of the VIMS Hospital mortuary. She was admitted to the hospital and is fine now, police said.
A complaint has been registered at the Cowl Bazaar police station.
